Palo Alto native, began his training at Ayako School of Ballet. A dance scholarship student at UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts, he graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Dance (Performance Specialization). There, Alec had the privilege of working extensively with Donald McKayle as a soloist and member of his Etude Ensemble. Alec has worked and trained with Jodie Gates, David Allan, Tong Wang, Alejandro Cerrudo, Robin Mineko Williams, Hubbard Street Dance Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Austin, The Trey McIntyre Project, Spellbound and Hamburg Ballet. He performed as guest artist in Neos Dance Theater’s 2013-2014 season as featured soloist in works by Hubbard Street’s Penny Saunder’s and Neos’ Robert Wesner. Alec joined Menlowe Ballet in 2014. Alec received contract from ODC San Francisco 2015.
